Raise a Check

A Check asks the Valuation Office to confirm the facts it holds: floor areas, use, layout, parking. You must have a Check decision before you can Challenge.

  1. 1

Open the property, choose its current (2026) valuation, then “Start a check case”.

  2. 2

Review the property details. Correct anything wrong: floor areas, room uses, parking, features.

  3. 3

If the facts are all right, say so: you can still raise a Check to unlock the Challenge stage.

  4. 4

Submit and note the date. Tell us in your dashboard.

  • Section 2 of your pack lists the floor areas the Valuation Office used. Compare them with the property.
  • Only claim what is true. False information can lead to a penalty.
